Conrad Anker was born on November 27, 1962 in California, USA. He is known for his work on Meru (2015), The Endless Knot (2007) and The High Bar (2010).
World-class mountaineer, endorser of The North Face sporting goods, and owner/operator of Anker Climbing Equipment, which produces mountain climbing gear.
Was a member of the Mallory & Irvine Research Expedition of Mount Everest in 1999, and in fact discovered the frozen corpse of George Mallory far off the climb route on the North Col at approximately 8,100 meters (asl).
